Keitzer: As the world burns
08/09/10 || Trauma
This is some good shit. Intros be damned.
That’s right. No regular intro for you fuckers. This is grind and I think it’s good shit. To further fuck with your preconceived notions of reviews, I give it an 8 blasts out of 10 right now. In my ever-decreasing attention span, I’m writing a short review, as well. Swallow those horse pills.
Who are Keitzer? A bunch of Germans who kick ass at high intensity blasting. Want to know more? Ask them, I’m only here to tell you whether this is worth your time. Which, of course, it is. Unless you don’t like grind. Then I’d have to ask why you’re still even reading this.
I’m not a grind fan, per se, but Keitzer have all the important ingredients in high quality and quantity and that makes the experience tolerable — fuck, enjoyable. The guitar riffs are actually highlights here along with the fact that a lot of these songs are not strictly adhereing to your typical :30 to 1:30 format. For the most part they’re longer. I’m amazed at the drummer more than anything, since some of these songs are pretty intense, slow down, and get back to the insane blasting. The only person that seems to catch a break from all the mayhem is the singer.
Let’s see some recommended tunes, shall we? Don’t mind if I do! “Panzersohn”, “Mode 3452”, “Doom shall rise”, “Intro” (yeah, I don’t really think it’s that kind of intro), “Throw the bolt”, and “No justification no peace”. Check that shit out and if you don’t like it, c’est la vie.
Good German grind. Not too shabby, consider my grind boner stroked.
